Henan will Construct a Raising Base for Franco Flying Duck

Invested by a medical industry corporation in Hong Kong, Henan Province will construct Neihuang Guoshi Special Poultry Raising Base in Huangxing County in the province.
The base will mainly undertake raise and processing of Franco flying Duck by the style of “Company plus Rural Household”. It is divided into two steps for the development: The first step is to move the whole grandparent duck farm from Jilin Province to the base and the productive capacity will have reached 130000 ducks by the year of 2004, with output value of 26 million yuan. By the year of 2005, the productive scale will have reached 500000 ducks with output value 100 million yuan. For the second step, 5 million ducks will have been raised by the year of 2006~2007 to form the largest export base of Franco Flying Duck in China, including production, processing and marketing.
The commercial and medical value of the duck is 5~10 times of that from common duck and the raw medical material can be biologically extracted from bone of the duck.
