Processing Base of Zhuanhe Dagu Chicken Completed

Processing base of Zhuanhe Dagu Chicken, invested for 96.4 million yuan by Shandao Food Corporation Ltd in Dalian has been completed in Heidao Town, Liaoning Province after one year and half construction. The base is designed to process more than 9 million chickens per year, most of which will be exported to Japan. 10 million chicks will be supplied by Dagu Chicken Breeding Center in Shandao Base and will be raised by individual farmers based on technical standard to guarantee “pure” of Dagu Chicken from both resource of breed and raising links. The price of Dugu Chicken will be 3~5 percent points higher than that of common poultry meat.
Dagu Chicken is well known by delicious and was rated as major protective breed by the Ministry of Agriculture in 2000.
