Poultry Production in China is Steadily Restoring

According to the information from the Ministry of Agriculture of China, demand for the market of poultry product in China is now overall restoring after fell down to the “bottom of valley” due to bird flu and poultry raising in rural areas is also gradually renewing.

The price of eggs and broiler has restored basically to normal level. The price for chick is now 1.7-1.8 yuan/chick and it is 4~4.3 yuan/kg for egg, 12%~16% lower than that before happening of bird flu and 5%~7.5% higher than that in the same period last year. Benefited from the state’s compensatory, poultry farmers now are very active to have supplement raise of poultry.
