The key technology of large-scale raising of animal and poultry with high quality and efficiency, the State Major Scientech Research Program organized by professors in China Agricultural University during the “the Tenth Five-year Plan” has been successfully passed exam and acception The project started in Feb. 2002 and coordinated study around the major difficult points in high efficiency and production, safety of product, resource development and environmental protection was carried out by accumulated advantageous strength and the technical breakthrough and achievements were recombined to extend and apply them in large-scale raising and industrialized demonstration, which have gained remarkable social and economical achievements.
The project has established Beijing De Qingyuan Healthy Raising Garden and established productive technology system of layer healthy raising through technological study on poultry farm design, environmental control, nutrition formula, improvement of immunity, scientific feeding, production and processing and wastes handling. At present, the garden has raised 120 000 layers and applying this system, the survival rate at 16 weeks was 95.4%~98.3% and the evenness reached 81%~88%. Egg production of 20~71 weeks was 316.68 with mortality of 7.23%, ratio of feed and egg 2.19:1.
