According to Mr. Jia Youling, Chief Animal Engineering in Ministry of Agriculture of China, the productive technology for bird flu diagnosis agent in china is very mature now and effective vaccine has been developed and sent to epidemic prevention sectors in different provinces. The protective rate of the vaccine in laboratory has reached 100%.
With development of effective vaccine and increase of knowledge for controlling the disease, high pathogenic bird flu, including Subtype H5N1 can be prevented and cured.
