Tianjin Academy of Agricultural Sciences Developed Successfully Effective Treating Method for Colibacillosis in Chicken

The project of “Construction of Iso-type Outer Membrane Protein (OMP) Cell Engineering Strain” organized by Mr. Ding Boliang, a researcher from Institute of Veterinary Medicine, Tianjin Academy of Agricultural Sciences has been tested and appraised by experts, which has reached the leading level in the country. The technology coming into being means that there has been an effective treating method for the epidemic disease that severely harms the poultry industry -Colibacillosis in Chicken.
Through more than two years of hard study, they have isolated 45 strains pathogenic E. coli and completed their biochemical and serum appraisal to successfully developed new type fusion strain with 100% stability. This strain can be used to prepare chicken colibacillus cell engineering vaccine with strong immunity to be used in the whole country for effective control for the spread of colibacillosis in chicken.
