City Established the Largest Yellow Feature Breeding Chicken Production
Base in China
In order to meet the market demand, Xinzheng City, Henan Province
has developed livestock and poultry husbandry in a big way, and now
established the largest yellow feature breeding chicken production
base in the nation.
In recent years, in order to meet market demand, Xinzheng City has
developed quality live hog, quality dairy cattle, yellow feature breeding
chicken, and meat duck husbandry demanded by market, now has established
the largest yellow feature breeding chicken production base in China,
with an annual output of over 2 million birds, and an annual output
of 400 million eggs. It has established the largest meat duck husbandry
base in central plain area, with a husbandry scale of 2 million birds.
In addition, it has established a quality pig breeder husbandry base
with a holding capacity of 530,000 pigs and a dairy cattle husbandry
base with a holding capacity of 3100 dairy cattle. Xinzheng City has
also established over 30 large scale livestock husbandry enterprises
and over 20 large- and medium-scale feed processing enterprises, over
50 poultry farms with a husbandry scale of 10 thousand chickens, 5
pig farms with a husbandry scale of over 1000 pigs, over 20 dairy
farms with a husbandry of over 50 dairy cattle and over 50 livestock
husbandry small areas or specialized villages. At present, the product
value of livestock husbandry of the whole city accounts for over 45%
of total agricultural output value.
