| New Technology for Twice Fermentation
of Microorganism in Poultry Feed is Successfully Developed in Shanghai
A new feed manufacture technology without addition of antibiotics
to control common poultry disease was successfully developed recently
in Shanghai, China.
The raw material for manufacturing this kind of feed is beneficial
bacterium in natural kingdom and beans, corn and fish meal, etc.
Multiple kinds of bacterium including yeast, Bacillus subtilis,
Actinobacillus and Bacillus, etc are selected based on 6 bacterial
strains stipulated by the Ministry of Agriculture of China and 63
strains released by American Feed Association to modified and domesticated
by biotechnology. The cultured strains were manufactured into bacterial
liquid through fermentation technology of bioengineering under strict
oxygen or non-oxygen conditions, after which, the feed is further
fermented to get microorganism twice fermented poultry feed with
characteristics of disease resistance, growth promotion and improvement
of meat quality.
