Poultry Processing in China is Only Inferior to that in United States
According to introduction of Dean of Food College, China Agricultural University, the poultry processing technology in China has been basically realized world advanced level, which is only inferior to that in United States, ranking in the second place in the world. Besides, China is also the second largest country for meat consumption and poultry processing enterprises in China, with good ground, to be one of the important strength of poultry processing industry in the world. On February 28, 2004, China Association of Animal Industry, together with China Chamber of Commerce for Import & Export of Foodstuffs, Native Produce & Animal held ¡°News Releasing of Promising on Safety of Poultry Products by 100 Major Enterprises in China¡±, more than 200 officials in Ministry of Agriculture of China, food experts and leaders in poultry enterprises were invited to attend releasing meeting, on which, ¡°White Paper on Safety Consumption of Poultry Food¡± was released to promise to the Society: they guarantee to supply safety poultry products to consumer.
