Taihe Silky protected in the original production region

It is reported that the application for Taihe Silky protection in original production region from the Government of Taihe County, Jiangxi Province has been approved by expert group and this is the first original area protected product of live body that passed through the examination of State General Administration for Quality Supervision Inspection and Quarantine.
According to “Regulations for Protection of the Product in Original Production Region” and “Requirements for General Utilization of the Product of Original Productive Region”, the experts committee composed by the experts from State General Administration for Quality Supervision Inspection and Quarantine, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Beijing University and China Animal Agriculture Association has earnestly examined the historical origin, human geography and natural environment with the point views on agriculture and forestry, resources and intellectual property, etc and had a discussion around quality traits, feeding and management, unique medical function and nutrition of the chicken, etc and the all experts attended the examination agreed to give Taihe Silky the protection of original productive region.
