China becomes the first country
of duck and goose industry in the world
The first session of national duck and goose industry meeting is
held in Changchun, Jilin province in 28th, November. By report,
various kinds of ducks and geese are the natural advantage which
makes China becomes the first country of duck and goose industry
in the world. In 2000 and 2001, export volume of Chinese geese cover
50.42¡ê£¤ and 34.56¡ê£¤ of the world whole export volume respectively.
Chinese geese has obtained import share in the export trade of the
world. In addition, export volume of Chinese down covers 50% of
the world whole volume. In 2002, Chinese exported feather down products
is 70000tons, which earns foreign exchange 650000000USD; China is
the biggest down production country in the world
