Feed Nutrition Research of the Wen¡¯s Group Has Gained New Progress
In recent 2 years, the nutrition Department of the Wen¡¯s Group has
conducted large quantities of experiment and research on swine amino
acid nutrition requirement and selection of non-conventional feed,
and gained exciting achievements.
The research result showed that the lysine requirement of growing
pig could be reduced by about 10% of the original basis, without influence
on the production performance. The formula of medium-sized pig feed
has already used this research result, with very stable production
performance. It can reduce feed cost by about 40 yuan RMB per ton
of feed. Calculated on the medium-sized pig feed output, we can save
more than 1 million yuan RMB each year. The Boluo Company has applied
this research achievement in the feed formula of large-sized pig,
which can save about 39 yuan RMB per ton of feed in the Heyuan District,
with stable but increase of production performance.
In addition, the Nutrition Department has discovered during the screening
of non-conventional feed, such as rapeseed meal, yeast feed, DDGS
that the quality of rapeseed meal is easy to control. If we use it
in appropriate volume, we can save 10-20 yuan RMB in general per ton
for feed for medium- and large-sized pigs. Now, we have used it in
medium- and large-sized pigs for a long period of time in the Company.
