A Public Harm Free Live Pig Base Will Be Constructed
in Jieyang of Guangdong Province
A project for constructing a live hog industrialized production base
of public harm free will be implemented in Jieyang of Guangdong Province.
The meeting for project evaluation and authentication was held in
Beijing with the leaders, professors and experts from Ministry of
Commerce, Ministry of Agriculture and China Agricultural University,
etc. The project will be technically supported by China Agricultural
University and will use world advanced technology for design: advanced
”°three-site production”±, ”°dry manure cleaning”± and ”°All In and All
Out”± and advanced industrialized model ”°Company + Production Base
+ Rural Households”±, Safe and public harm free production, famous
brand production and management, advanced breeder pig reproduction
system will be applied. Besides, fine variety of breeder pigs, three-way
cross reproduction system and artificial insemination will be introduced
from foreign countries. 320 million yuan will be invested for the
first phase for construction of seed stock pig farm, grand- parent
pig farm, commercial pig farm, AI station, premix plant, organic manure
plant and integrated pork processing plant etc.
