Urine Test Will Be Conducted before Slaughter of Pig in Beijing
From May 2004, the live pigs will be urine tested before
slaughter and put onto market. According to introduction, Beijing
Commercial Administration required recently all fixed spots for pig
slaughter be equipped with testing instrument of Clenbuterol and every
batch of pigs will be sampled and tested. At same time, all fixed
spots for pig slaughter will establish stable live hog source base
through agreement and contract. From June 1, the pork products without
cold preservation transportation will not be allowed to go to market.
