Multi-spot Isolation
Pig Farm in Beijing Began Construction
At present, multi-spot isolation pig farm in Beijing began construction
in Changcheng Danyu Animal Product Co. Ltd , which is located in Yanqing
County, at the foot of beautiful Great Wall, where there are 800 mu
of forestry land. Foreign advanced technology of SEW was applied in
the design of the farm, which was divided into 4 regions including
breeder reproduction, piglet raising, finishing and office, with more
than 1000 m distance among each region without mobilization of people.
Beijing Changcheng Danyu Animal Product Co. Ltd is a share system
co ltd composed of Beijing Pig Breeding Center, China National Native
Produce & Animal By-products Imp. & Exp. Cop. and Kangzhuang
Forestry Farm. The project used 15 million yuan of interest-free loan
from Danish Government and 10 million yuan from shareholders, with
the constructive scale of 600 female pigs, all from Demark. At the
same time, SPF productive technology and SEW productive model as well
as training, extension and service system are introduced from European
and American Countries.
It is planned to complete construction in Oct. 2003 and the introduction
of breeder pigs by the end of 2003. Piglet will be produced in May
2004 and 2000 breeder pigs will be supplied in the year of 2004.
