Pork Export in Sichuan is Hopeful to Break Out US$100 Million
According to Department of Commercial Affairs in Sichuan,
from January to April this year, the pork export in Sichuan Province,
China has been increased greatly. Base on estimation, the pork export
in Sichuan this year is hopeful to break out 100 000 ton, with the
export volume US$130 million and the main export regions and countries
being Hong Kong Region, Russian, Singapore and Macro Region, etc.
The pork production in Sichuan occupies the first place in China.
In 2003, the province exported 75000 ton of pork with the volume
more than US$ 95 million, setting the highest record in the province.
