on Breeding of Lean Meat Line of Liaoning Black Pig
Population selection is used to select and breed lean meat line of
Liaoning Black Pig after introducing Duroc blood for two times and
0~2 generations have been completed within three years. The live weight
of breeder pig can reach 90kg within 143 day old with feed and weight
ratio 2.96, lean meat of carcass 63.09%, intra-muscle fat content
4.11%, litter size 12.80 and litter weight of piglet weaned at 35
day old 124.61kg, which all reached expected technical and economic
indexes.
