Zhejiang’s Annual Supply of Live Hogs to Shanghai Succeeds One Million

Last year, Zhejiang Province supplied more than 1.2 million live hogs to Shanghai and become the second largest base supplying live hogs to Shanghai in China.
In recent years, Shanghai has been implementing banned and limited live hog raising policies, supplying bigger markets of live hog outside Shanghai with more opportunities to sell live hog and the products to the city. More measures have been taken to guarantee the safety of the hog and the products to Shanghai, including increase of special production base, strict management, inspection, etc..
