China Strengthened the Management of Live Hog Slaughter Market

The draft of new revised “Live Hog Slaughter Management Regulations”has been completed and it is hopeful to be released within the end of this year.

Together with other sectors related, the Ministry of Commerce sent 6 groups to go to different provinces for inspection on live hog slaughtering and 10 fixed enterprises will be inspected for each province, including illegal slaughtering, marketing for poor quality meat, etc. doing some preparations on the release of “Live Hog Slaughter Management Regulations”and “Slaughtering Law”.
