400 American Pigs Arrived in Henan Province

400 American pigs of fine varieties arrived in Henan Province after more than 20 hours traveling and this is for the first time for the Henan Seed Pig Breeding Center to introduce breeding pigs from America. According to introduction, the price for the introduced pigs is 20000 yuan/head and the introduction will improve overall quality of the breeding pigs in the province.

“Near 110000 heads of fine variety dairies, breeding pigs, Cherry Valley Duck and Broilers have been introduced in Henan in the first half year and this will greatly improve farmer’s income. For example, a farmer who sells a head of lean meat pig will gain 300 yuan more than that of local pig” said the head of Henan Provincial Animal Husbandry Bureau”.
