for the First Time has Successfully Assembled Infected Virus Particles
of Foot and Mouth Disease

(CAAS) recently has completed assembly of infected clone of whole
length genome of £Æ£Í£Ä£Ö £Ï£È£¯£Ã£È£Á£¯£¹£¹ and the pathogenic
property of gained rescue virus is basically in line with that of
parent virus. This is the first for China to successfully assemble
the infected virus particles of FMD.
The successful assembly of infected virus particles of FMD has solved
the problem of inconvenience of £Æ£Í£Ä£Ö experiment and made it
possible to have a study of molecular pathogenic mechanism of £Æ£Í£Ä£Ö
on gene level, supplying a tool and technical platform on research
of structure and function as well as pathogenic mechanism of £Æ£Í£Ä£Ö
genome and laying a good foundation for a deeper study and development
of FMD vaccine.
