Zhejiang University has Developed Nano Meter Type Feed Additive

Zhejiang University, through more than 10 years research, has developed successfully nano meter type series feed additives with the properties of safety, high effective and quality. At present, they have applied for 2 international innovation patents and 6 national innovation patents.
A few years ago, Feed Research Institute of Zhejiang University found 4 kinds of micronutrient, which did not content any harmful element and could be used for both people and pig but unfortunately they had not good results for improving lean meat and meat quality.
After rising of nano meter technology, they have got breakthrough progress in their study. The molecular number that exposed to the surface of pellet of the several nutrients mentioned above increased greatly under grain-size of nano meter and the physical-chemical property was improved obviously. By optimized combination of the 4 micro-nutrients and adding multiple kinds of other nutrient, a new type of feed additive without any public harm at nano meter level has been developed. The additive can replace antibiotic additive in feed and absorb harmful residue of animal product (the content of heavy metal in pork is only 60% of the highest limitation in EU in the pig fed nano meter additive) possessing original innovation and proprietary intellectual property rights, which can open up a new age of producing safe and high quality animal products in China.
