Exported pork of Sichuan is 120 000 tons from January to October

According to information given by pork export symposium hold in Sichuan at present, from January to October this year, exported pork of Sichuan takes about 120 000 tons, earning USD180 million, and ranking from the fourth in the end of last year to first this year nationwide. According to statistics, in 120 000tons of export volume, private enterprises export 55 000 tons, average price of export has reached USD1529/ton, and total export volume is USD85.86 million, which is an all-time high. Sichuan pork will also export to Macao and Korea this year on the bases that they can export to traditional markets stably including Hong Kong, Russia and Singapore. In the symposium, establishment of Sichuan Pork Exporter Commission is declared officially.
