Qidong City is speeding up construction of commercial pig raising base

The newly constructed meat product company, which was invested by 15 million yuan (RMB) is an integrated enterprise including feed processing, piglet reproduction and breeding, pig raising, production of organic manure, processing and marketing and the 10000 heads of pig farm invested by the first phase will be completed soon and 10 commercial pig bases have been constructed in Qigong, Jiangsu Province this year.

Located in Tongxing Farm in Zhaomin Town, Tongxin Breeding Pig Farm has been put into production and the farm now possesses more than 200 heads of purebred breeder pigs of Landrace, Large Yorkshire and Duroc and the piglets will be sold to Shanghai and provinces of Zhejiang, Shandong, Anhui and Jiangsu, etc. The projects of the second and the third phase, which were invested 3 million yuan and 2 million yuan respectively, will begin the end of this year and April next year and the annual 12000 heads commercial pigs will have been put onto market after completion of the farm.
