Beijing Pig Breeding
Center Released ˇ°Zhong Yu Matched Lineˇ±
The Beijing Pig Breeding Center is the largest pig-breeding base in
North China, the state seed pig farm and has rich experience of producing
and developing Decalb matched seed pig. It is planned that this year
the Center will release ˇ°Zhong Yu Matched Lineˇ± so as to meet the
demand of seed pigs in different markets. ˇ°Zhong Yu Matched Line Nos.
1, 2, 3ˇ± will be released to the fresh meat markets in large- and
medium-size cities, large-scale commercial pig production bases and
rural areas with fairly low level of pig husbandry, respectively.
The production effect of ˇ°Zhong Yu Matched Lineˇ± commercial pigs is
very good; the commercial pig has very strong vitality, faster growth
rate. It can improve the efficiency by about 10% as compared with
that of common hybrid pigs. The commercial pig population is very
even and consistent
