Potential of Swine Production
in China
By the fast development of national economy and continuous improvement
of people's living standard, the demands of meat, especially the
pork is growing day by day, it makes the swine production developing
quickly. According to statistical data of FAO, the number of survivor,slaughtered,
marketing rate of fattened stock, the average weight of carcass
are 452 million,518 million, 122%, 78kg respectively, which reaches
the average level of the world. It is a significant contribution
that China solves the meat problem of the one-fifth population of
the world by only occupying 6.44% land of the world. But there is
a larger distance between the level of swine production in China
comparing with America, German and Denmark. |
