China for the first time successfully established virus
particles of Foot and Mouth disease

Base on the news from Lanzhou Veterinary Institute, Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, the institute recently has completed the establishment of whole-length genome infectious clone of OH/CHA/99 strains of Foot and Mouth Disease. The pathogenecity of saved strain and parent strain gained was basically same. This was, for the first time for China, to successfully established infectious virus particles of Foot and Mouth Disease.
