has made Important Breakthrough in Veterinary Drug Residue Examination
Technique --- Rapid Test HCl-Clenbutrol Reagent Kid Came Out
A rapid veterinary drug residue examination technique for
examining animal products has recently passed the identification
in the China Agricultural University. Related experts hold
the view that this technique is an important breakthrough
in veterinary drug residue examination technique. The project
entitled ¡°Study on the Sulfadimidine and Clenbutrol Enzyme-Linked
Immune Reagent Kit¡± is the important content of the research
topic of ¡°Study on the Veterinary Drug Safety Evaluation and
Residue Examination Technique¡±, which is a state science and
technology strategic plan during the National Tenth Five-Year
Plan period.
The domestic authoritative experts in preventive medicine
hold the view that the appearance of the rapid test of sulfadimidine
and clenbutrol is of great significance. First, it provides
forceful inspection means for the state. Second, it is used
for food safety guarantee and has active influence in standardizing
agricultural husbandry industry in rationally use of veterinary
drugs. Third, it is beneficial to the prevention of food-sourced
diseases.
At present, ¡°sulfadimidine¡± is one of the most commonly used
veterinary drug antibiotic functions in China, which cause
many drug resistances produced by bacteria. In addition, it
has the potential of causing canter in human beings. Clenbutrol
is a ¦Âtype stimulant drug used in livestock and poultry production.
The European and American countries and China have listed
these two classes of drug into the focus for veterinary drug
residue control. At present, the traditional examination method
used in China needs advanced equipment with high investment,
high coast, and strict and high requirement of operators.
Therefore, the traditional method is very different to extend
and apply under situation of large-scale production.
The method of rapid Sulfadimidine and Clenbutrol examination
technique has adopted ¡°Reagent Kit¡± method developed by Professor
Shen Jianzhong, from the China Agricultural University, has
the advantages of small investment, low cost, easy operation,
shorter examination time and large-scale examination samples,
and is suitable for checking large number of samples. It has
enabled large import and export trading companies and large-scale
production enterprises become possible to use such rapid examination
veterinary drug residue therefore it has broad application
prospect in the future. Related experts hold the view that
this technique is suitable for the local conditions of China
and have autonomous intellectual property right, which has
filled in the gaps of domestic science and technology.
After review and application by related institutions, the
project of Sulfadimidine and Clenbutrol Enzyme-Linked Immune
Reagent Kit¡± has the advantages of high sensitivity, good
precision, more specificity. The examination limit of Sulfadimidine
monoclonal antibody Reagent Kit reached 1.3 ¦Ìg/kg, which is
much lower than the Sulfadimidine residue limitation standard
(100¦Ìg/kg ) of the UN food code committee and the standard
formulated by the Ministry of Agriculture. The examination
limit of Clenbutrol monoclonal antibody Reagent Kit is 0.1¦Ìg/kg,
which has reached the examination requirement of the Ministry
of Agriculture.
The experts who attended the appraisal conference have a
unanimous comment on the innovative research achievement that
it has reached the world advanced level.
