IV. Livestock and poultry disease control
China has broadly extended the technologies of livestock and poultry allergic reaction technology, plate, test-tube micro-agglutination test, indirect haemagglutination test, agar immuno-diffusion test: immunoelectro-osmophoresis test; fluorescent antibody technique; enzyme linked immunosorbent assay. Application of new diagnosis technologies, including monoclonal antibody technology and nucleic acid probe has increased checkout rate of difficult infectious disease. ¡°Detection, Monitoring, Rapid and Precise Diagnosis and Product Pilot Experiment for 8 Major Infectious Diseases¡± had completed the development of 8 diagnosis agents, including Cattle Tuberculosis, Brucellosis, Porcine Reproductive and Respiratory Syndrome (PRRS) kit, New Castle Disease, RT-PCR Detection Technology of Fowl Flu and Infectious Bronchitis and diagnosis kit of agglutination test of Anaplasmosis, which had been developed and applied. The extension and application of rinderpest attenuated lapinized, ovinized and caprined vaccines for cattle: Swine Fever attenuated lapinized vaccines, Contagious Bovine attenuated Pleuropneumoni attenuated lapinized, ovinized vaccines, attenuated vaccine of No.5 Brucellar of ovis and No.2 Brucellar of suis and attenuated vaccine of Equine Infectious Anemia, etc had made contributions to livestock disease control. The extension and application of new type high-efficient antiprotozoal drugs, anti-worm drugs and acaricide with low poison had gained good results in control of serious epidemic parasitosis.
