The First Local
Law on Animal and Poultry Were Put into Practice in Shanghai
”°Management method of Animal and Poultry Feeding in Shanghai”± has
been put into practice officially and this is the first local law
for standardized feeding for animal and poultry. At present, the border
of concrete regions for banned, controlled and moderate feeding are
divided. At the same time, the departments related organized some
experts to formulate matched technical specifications, such as ”°Specifications
of Productive Technology for Breeder Poultry Farm”±, ”°Specifications
of Productive Technology for Layer Farm”±, ”°Specifications of Productive
Technology for Broiler Farm”±, ”°Specifications of Productive Technology
for Hatchery”±, ”°Specifications of Productive Technology for Slaughter
of Poultry”± and ”°Specifications of Productive Technology for Poultry
Circulation”± etc to improve their operation. Five main parts were
included in this law:
1. Two certificates should be obtained for animal and poultry feeding,
one is ”°Qualified Certificate for Animal Quarantine”± and another is
”°License for Waste Discharge”±;
2. Dividing region and carrying out classified management;
3. Severe punishment will be implemented if swill is used as feeds
4. Overall extension for files of feeding
5. Emergency measures for epidemic prevention.
