China Issued the
First Batch of Green Animal Product Proof Standard
The first batch of green animal product proof standard in China including
¡°Green Food-Animal Health Standard¡±, ¡°Green Food-Veterinary Medicine
Use Standard¡± and ¡°Green Food-Feed and Feed Additive Standard¡± have
been officially issued after formulated by China Green Food Development
Center and examined and approved by the Ministry of Agriculture. The
first batch of green animal product enterprise was also brought about,
indicating that the proof for green animal product in China began
to be standardized.
The requirements pointed out in the three standards were very strict.
For example, in ¡°Green Food-Animal Health Standard¡±, the working staff
was required to change clothe, take shower and sterilized before going
into the farm and the severe infectious disease, such as New Castle
Disease and Bird Flu, etc should be put an end to. Strict requirements
were also pointed out for quarantine of animal before and after slaughter
and health for processing. In ¡°Green Food-Feed and Feed Additive Standard¡±,
it is stipulated that at least 90% animal feed should be come from
green food productive base and any medical feed additive was not allowed
to use. Obvious limits were also pointed out for using of some other
