The proportion of China¡¯s livestock products in the world

We can come to a conclusion by observing the fluctuation of the proportion of China¡¯s livestock production in the world of the past 40 years that: China¡¯s beef and mutton production has been developing progressively and the proportion of pork, poultry eggs is fairly large and reached to a high of 46.75% and 43.26% respectively in 2003 and they are the dominant livestock products in China. It¡¯s a very special phenomenon that a nation with 20% of the world¡¯s population produces some over 40% pork and poultry eggs of the world¡¯s total.
